A Bethlehm Township man was charged after racy photos of Freedom High School students boozing and dancing at a stripper pole in his home became public will plead guilty to some of the charges, his attorney said. Steven A. Russo, 36, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges stemming from the Dec. 12 party and photos that surfaced at school. He agreed to plead guilty to selling or furnishing alcohol to minors, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors, said defense attorney John Waldron. According to police, not long after Russo was charged with harassing and stalking the mother of another son of his, he hosted the party at his 15th Street home where he gave teens alcohol. He was charged in February after photos of students, one in her cheerleader uniform, drinking and dancing at a stripper pole were traced to the party. Russo's son is a student at Freedom. Students told police Russo hosted numerous parties in his home and set aside a room, known as "the cave," for teens to have sex in. Russo is awaiting trial in Northampton County on charges of stalking, harassment and resisting arrest involving an Oct. 29 incident in Betlehem Township with Jessica Clapso, who has a son with Russo.
I think that this man was drunk and he coudn't control hiself. He probably thought this was a good idea to have fun with the kids but the police thought differently. If he wasn't drunk then I think he thought he was going to get way with it what he was doing because he kne what he was doing wasn't right but he still decided to do it anyway.
This would impact the kids in the school because, you never know, they probably had fun and they are probably mad right now. This would impact his son who attends Freedom Academy because people will probably talk about him and his father.
